The comedy star is set to rock the Durban Playhouse Theatre on October 3, with her long-awaited return show Thenjiwe Unplugged, a no-holds barred, one night only event that's got fans buzzing.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Thenjiwe said: “I’ve been to the biggest comedy stages in the world, but nothing compares with performing for my people in Durban. I’m coming back with everything, the stories, the laughter and the truth about where I was when the world shut down.”
This marks Thenjiwe’s first Durban performance since before the Covid-19 pandemic, a five-year gap that saw her globetrotting with hit shows such as The Mandela Effect and commanding the mic at the Edinburgh Festival.
